Learning Digital Camera – Photography : Beginning Tips

First of all, take your time to choose a digital camera from many types and variant. Decide what you want, better pocket camera, prosumer or DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflect)?? Don’t ever choose digital camera that can cause a problem in operationing –while you take a picture. Afterwards, get acquainted with your camera, at least one month before you ‘ready’ take a good-picture. At least in one month you’ll find ‘the worst’ and ‘the best’ suit for your camera. Then, show begin!!

1. Always Bring Your Camera Wheresoever You GO!!

Camera = your sweetheart now, your eye now lens, your viewpoint is = frame, when you view at this moment it’s became space and time composition. Your eyes will see an object with space and background bandage –which it’s beautifull everywhere, where the pure light emitted from that time. So that morning and evening is very fit to make you to walk –to relax with your camera.

When you take a trip, to office, school, church, and other place, immortalize every moment that interesting for you, take your attention, no time for thinking. . Expose the object, KISS is important!! ( = keep it simple, stupid! ! , suggestion from friend of mine). And don't excessively doing an instant review after taking a picture, because you will lose several valuable moments with your object. At this level, that you chase is quantity not quality (not yet).

Remember, principal reason why you let a good moment pass before you get it in a picture, because you don't bring camera!!. Make a habit to always bring camera wheresoever you take a trip because you don't know moments or what sceneries will you meet later.

And don't forget to prepare it in a bag / pocket travel for your camera. Consider an ease in packing and unpacking, with endurance from shake and friction. Bag or camera place that has foam and has layer outside which it’s hard enough –is intelligent choice for this matter.



2. Look at The Composition

For several person, learning and studying the rule of composition it’s a good matter. But sometimes –in certain condition, this rule became not applicable, and better if we trust our eyes. So which is true? Which one we mut follow?? The rule of composition or just depending in our eyes???

I think, best way as a newbie better get knowledge about ‘the rule of composition’ than nothing in common. This rule will become our stepping stone, to get higher.. reach a good-quality of photography

3. Instinct and Eye Practice

See and look at carefully photos which you take. Try to find deficits from your photo result and make some critism. Does that picture as according to what you want? Do you like its composition?? A review from your current picture / photograph by yourself –is very important for increasing your photography instinct. Furthermore, for sharing necessary with other, and ask their compliment about your picture result and filter as much as possible the opinion from assorted commentator type. . .;-p


4. Obligatory Know The Camera Which We Brought to

It’s necessary to learn every feature on your camera as soon as posible. And it’s easier remembering these feature while experiencing on taking a picture every-possible-time. Find it ‘the best and the worst” –from your camera, to maximise quality that can be reachesed. 5. Cast-aside Time for Final Review

It aim for final review is to check the condition of our photograph, compositions, colours, sharpness, brightness and contrast, etc. So we can easily do correcting if some ‘error’ occur in our photograph.
Firstly, choose some native image which we thougt well from quality aspect, register it properties, and then we can cultivate this image better (when necessary).
This matter valids for the new era of digital-photography. Need to be remembered, before we make editing image, try to copy thoose native into certain folder (file that copied here's -which you will edit into better quality), so you still has savings native image –which it functioned create a history and reservist.
There are many software for image editing, but i suggest to use Adobe Photoshop and associates.


6. Print.. Print, and Print!!

Print it!! So we can share with friends and other, or also can be made as collection in our photo album. But actually main purpose from digital print is to show us the number of concentration deviation and colour gradation –between ‘digital camera- LCD’ with PC / laptop monitor and ‘the result prints’. If the difference is too significant, it’s necessary to do calibrating image from PC / laptop monitor. Where this action can perform harmonization of the colour delivers among PC / laptop monitors. So it can make editing work faster and easier, due to reach appropriate colour achievement according to what we want.
